Favorite drugstore lip products

I am such a big believer in beauty of the drugstore mainly Boots these days because those Superdrug stupid huge stickers that ruin all packaging are really starting to get on my nerves!!
Alas I digress YES  the power of makeup without breaking the bank is something I've relied on throughout my uni and now post grad days.

Today I want to share with you my fave highstreet/drugstore lippy's.
These are in no particular order so lets do this!

First I will start off with these new-ish L'Oreal releases.
To be honest these are just my favorite no fuss run of the mill lipsticks. Can't go wrong.
The two colours I have are both beautiful in very different ways.
first is 640 which is a very matte dusky pink, it's so easy to use and goes with all makeup looks and is a really good everyday lipstick, doesn't look like you spent hours in front of the mirror. This is one of my faves for a more natural beauty look. With the brilliant colour payoff you really can't go wrong.

The Berry Blush colour is very different in that it's a more shiny, creamier lipstick in a darker glitzy pink, again I love this for an everyday colour, and I find this one really moisturising, I can say since I bought this it hasn't left my handbag as I find it an easy on the go lippy.

Ummmm this product is just dreamy, it is so opaque and just has absolutely brilliant pigmentation that lasts all day without drying your lips!! Unlike other similar products from Rimmel which are crazyily drying. I would describe this as like a liquid lipstick it is quite thick when you apply it but can be blended out easily.

I LOVE this badboy, it is so easy to use and as it's a pointed crayon you don't need to faf around with lipliner which I usually do have to for red lipsticks. Before buying this I was reading other reviews and saw that so many people said this a complete dupe for the Nars lip crayons (See ICovetThee) in terms of colour, and duration, and some even said this was better because the nars one can be slighly drying, I cannot say for certain as I haven't got round to buying any of the Nars ones but I can say the packaging is identical!! I love the colour and a non fuss red lip is fine by me! and they're only £4.99!!!!

Love this as both a liner before another lipstick or just to use as an all over colour which I tend to do more often. It's a beautiful dusky rose, I find this quite creamy, but tend to need to warm it up on the back of my hand first. If you use this lightly it could be a nice your lips but better colour or build it up for a gorgeous full lip look.

I love this liner for lining the lips before applying a lipstick as I find it really makes your lips look fuller and I think I have quite small lips and this product really helps.

It's cheap as chips so you can't go wrong.
I've also heard beauty bloggers such as Amelia Liana talk about this product and say it is a really good drugstore dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in pillow talk.

Now lip glosses are the lip products I own fewest of, as I associate gloss without being able to leave the house without getting my hair stuck all over my face. But a small few have won me over including this one Maybelliene one.

I couldn't resist the name Glorious Grapefruit so for this alone it was instantly in my basket, it's a really lovely subtle orange colour it glides on the lips beautifully.

I find with this you can really build up the colour by adding a couple more layers and the colour it builds up to is just completely gorgeous.

I find myself reaching for this a lot to go over lipsticks and add a really nice shine to them and the colour mixes perfectly with pink lippys.

So that's my round up of favorite lip products. I have to say as well these products are ones I find myself reaching for over my higher end products. And we all know I cannot resist a bargain to fulfill my make up addiction.

Ciao for now

SKINCARE (without breaking the bank) Boots Time delay. Cleansing Oil and Micellar Water.

This one is a different one for me, and not something I've seen other people talk about. It's from Boots own range time delay. The two products I'm writing about today is their Cleansing Oil and the Daily Cleansing Micellar Water.

I'll start with my least favorite, the micellar water. It's okay... It's not bad but it doesn't outshine any of my others, Bioderma knocks it out the park and I prefer both the L'oreal and Garnier micellar waters.

BUT it isn't rubbish! and for the price you can't complain. Together they were a total bargain, with buy one get one free so both coming in at £5.99! My only word of advice is I didn't like this product on my eyes as when it got in between my lashes it did sting a little bit. If you have sensitive eyes I wouldn't put this near them. All round an okay product that won't break the bank.

Now lets talk cleansing oil I LOVE IT, I can't believe how good this product is for the price. I'm really fussy with what I wash my face with as it has taken me years to get my oily skin under control. But oily skinned friends please do not be scared of oil they work wonders!!

I wasn't expecting much as facial oils can cost an absolute bomb and I thought there was a good
reason why. Turns out, there isn't one!
This product smells utterly beautiful and isn't too intense or full on. You do have to pour this straight out the bottle which can be messy but I promise that is my only complaint.
This seems like it literally evaporates the makeup of your skin!! When I run a cotton pad of micellar water afterwards there isn't a trace of foundation to be seen!
The oil also perfectly removes every trace of eye makeup, and doesn't irritate them.
I have recently had VERY sore eyes with dry skin under and on my lids and has been a nightmare to deal with, the oil certainly helped. It was nice to rub my eyes and for them feel nourished and not like I wanted to tear them out their sockets!!
Conclusion go see for yourself and I will definitely be buying another bottle and another after that.

Have you tried these products? What did you think? Let me know, I'm always on the hunt for more and better.

UNSUNG HERO. MY NEW HOLY GRAIL MASCARA

This is a bold statement I am about to make, and not one to be taken lightly... but... I genuinely think I have found my ULTIMATE holy grail mascara. For the measly price tag of £6.99!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Maybelline Lash Sensational.

I think this by far outshines the new Benefit roller lash as well as other high end mascara's such as Laura Mercier.

The lash sensational gives me volume and length like no other. In my first week of using this, every girl I work with asked me if I was wearing lash extensions!! I think that itself speaks volumes.
The brush is similar to Benefits roller lash wand in that one side is shorter bristles and longer ones on the other side, making it easy to coat every last lash. It rolls through your lashes beautifully and is very easy to apply. You don't have to work hard to get the desired effect. I've used mascaras that are hard work and are tricky to get right.

This mascara is also a perfect all rounder as one coat gives you beautiful everyday lashes and just one more coat gives you those voluminous night out lashes that I personally love all day long. Also great for lower lashes if you just use the short bristles which is a bonus for me as I don't own a good bottom lash mascara!

An even bigger bonus is that I bought this  on an introductory offer and only coughed up £4.99. Although this offer is no longer relevant I can't remember the last time I entered Boots and there wasn't an offer on makeup across the store, this past week I believe there was 3 for 2 on all makeup.

I don't know what more to say other than get out and try for yourself.
Have you tried Lash Sensational? What did you think, do you have your own holy grail mascara that you think I need in my life?

Revlon, Revlon, Revlon

So... I go to Superdrug to buy a new foundation and heard a little but about the Revlon foundations but alas it Revlon had a 3 for 2 offer on so I of course HAD to then buy three items, and I thought I would share my thoughts with you lovelies.
